Approved Ancestors

This database reflects approved patriots who rendered civil, military or naval service to our country during the years of 1784 to 1815 inclusive. It is not a comprehensive listing. When proving your lineage, an application with supporting documents meeting the current standards is required. Please complete a JOIN FORM so that a volunteer may assist you with your application.  Inquiries for more patriot information may be requested on the LIBRARY SERVICES REQUEST FORM.

Examples:
     Ancestor Last Name (contains): Jones AND Ancestor Death State: VA
     Ancestor Spouse's Name (contains): Davis - finds all records with the word "Davis" anywhere in the Spouse's Name
     Combine Search Fields to Narrow Search: Ancestor Last Name: Davis AND Ancestor Spouse's Name: Jones AND Ancestor Death State: OH
